In observance of Good Friday, all major Indian stock exchanges, including the BSE and NSE, are closed today, April 18, 2025. As a result, trading activities across equity, derivatives, and commodity segments have been suspended for the day.
This closure, which falls under the list of official market holidays recognized by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), is a part of the annual trading calendar. Therefore, investors and traders are advised to plan their transactions accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
Moreover, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also remain shut for both morning and evening trading sessions. Consequently, there will be no trading in gold, silver, crude oil, or other commodities.
