Gujarat Police have launched the GP-DRASTI project, a cutting-edge initiative using drones for rapid crime response. Aimed at reducing response times significantly, these drones will work alongside Police Control Room (PCR) vans.
During pilot tests in Surat and Ahmedabad, drones reached incident sites in just 2 to 2.5 minutes, proving their potential to transform emergency policing. This technology-driven step enhances public safety and brings a modern edge to law enforcement across the state.
