Father Accepts Son’s Honor
In an emotional highlight of the 56th convocation at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), Shaikh Imtiyaz was awarded a gold medal in honor of his late son, Nakeebraza.
Nakeebraza, a brilliant student in B.Sc. Physics, achieved a top CGPA of 9.04, making him the university’s highest scorer. Tragically, his promising journey was cut short due to a fatal road accident in September 2024.
In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, the university conferred the award posthumously, with his father receiving it on his behalf—bringing tears and heartfelt respect from attendees.
The touching gesture serves as a reminder of the resilience of families and the lasting value of academic excellence.
