Gujarat COVID Spike: 1109 Cases
Gujarat is witnessing a fast rise in COVID-19 cases. The total number of active cases has now reached 1,109. In the last 24 hours, Ahmedabad alone reported 131 new cases.
Among city zones, the West Zone recorded 211 cases, while the North-West Zone had 204, and the South-West Zone reported 114 cases. These zones are now on high alert.
Alongside this, 106 patients recovered, but sadly, four women lost their lives, including a 16-year-old girl. This loss has raised concerns across the healthcare community.
To control the spread, officials are urging people to follow safety guidelines. Moreover, they have increased monitoring in hotspot areas.
So far, the state health department has taken steps to ensure early detection and faster response. However, the public must also act responsibly to stop further spread.
