Kirti Patel Honeytrap Arrest
Surat police have finally arrested Instagram influencer Kirti Patel, also known as Kirti Adalja, in Ahmedabad for her role in a high-profile honey-trap and extortion case. Patel was on the run for over 10 months after allegedly extorting ₹2 crore from a Surat-based real estate developer.
To evade law enforcement, she constantly changed mobile numbers, SIM cards, phones, and locations, making it difficult to trace her. Her tactics included digital camouflage and use of burner devices. However, the Kapodra police tracked her movements and successfully executed the arrest operation in Ahmedabad.
This arrest marks a major breakthrough in the investigation of influencer-led cyber and emotional fraud cases in Gujarat. Officials have confirmed that further questioning is underway, and more names could surface in connection to the extortion network.
