India and New Zealand have restarted free trade agreement negotiations after a decade, aiming to enhance trade in agriculture, critical minerals, pharmaceuticals, and tourism. Indian Trade Minister Piyush Goyal stated that the pact could increase bilateral trade tenfold. The discussions resumed following a meeting between PM Modi and New Zealand’s PM Christopher Luxon.
