Pune Bus Rape Case In Police arrested Dattatraya Gade around midnight from Shirur tehsil for allegedly raping a 26-year-old woman inside a stationary bus at Swargate Bus Station. He was on the run for two days before being tracked down.

Gade has a history of theft, robbery, and chain-snatching in Pune and Ahilyanagar and had been out on bail since 2019. His past criminal activities are now under further investigation.

High-Intensity Police Operation

To capture him, police deployed drones, dog squads, and 13 special teams. More than 100 officers conducted a large-scale search in Gunat village, checking sugarcane fields and remote hideouts before successfully arresting him. Gade is now in custody and will face strict legal action.
