Experience the Grand Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025 in Surat on June 27
Rath Yatra 2025 will light up the streets of Surat on June 27. Thousands of devotees will join the grand chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. The Yatra starts at 3:00 PM from Surat Railway Station and ends at ISKCON Temple, Jahangirpura.
The route covers Ring Road, Athwa Gate, Rander Road, and more. Along the way, people sing bhajans, dance, and distribute prasad. Each chariot wears a colorful dress made in Vrindavan by 50 skilled artisans.
To ensure safety, the Surat Police will deploy over 4,500 officers, body cameras, and CCTV systems. Traffic on key roads will be diverted, and BRTS routes will change during the event.
Smaller Rath Yatras will also take place in Amroli, Sachin, and Pandesara. These are perfect for those seeking a calm spiritual experience.
